This phone is adapted to provide a push to talk feature for recording.
To use, click and hold the mouse button down while pointing to the the Press to Talk button in the phone. Clicking on the lock symbol holds the button down until the lock symbol is clicked again. This generates the # touch tone as in the instructions below.
The back and forward buttons navigate between the starting messages of Voicechat sessions which are separated by 5 minutes or more and generate 323 or 383 touch tone sequences.
Basic Voicechat commands
Press # to enter recording mode to compose a message and # again to stop the recording.
Use the 9 key to skip to the end of the playback list and wait for any new messsages to arrive.
Use the 3 key to pause all playback and press 3 again to return to normal playback. While playback is paused there are advanced options available. Press the * key while paused to here these options.
Use the 4 and the 6 keys to navigate back and forward through the message playlist. Use the 4 key to go back to the previous message and the 6 key to skip to the next message.
Use the 1 key to jump back to the first message in the Voicechat playlist.
Use the 7 key to start playback from a specific message. You will prompted to enter the message number.
You can use the 2 key to skip backwards 8 seconds in the current message and the 8 key to skip forward 8 seconds in the current message.
Use the 5 key to repeat the current message. The system will also announce the current message number and that message's date and time. Press 5 again to cancel the announcement and begin playing that message from the beginning.
Use the 0 key to enter the options menu.
Options for linking to this page
We can call an extension automatically when the page loads. Adding the extension number parameter to the URL of this page in the link will cause the phone on this page to dial that extension when the page loads.
